Chroma
Chroma is defined as the purity and the intensity of color. Chroma is also a professional photo sharing website that I designed for people to find and connect with other photography professionals. The whole idea is to connect with peers, find motivation, and even break into the photography Industry.
User Research
Pain Points
Interaction
There a lot of photo sharing apps, but there is a lack of focus on professional interaction and connection
Finding Peers
It is challenging to find people who are doing art similar to you, and to keep up with how your peers are evolving with the industry
Finding Jobs
Having a place dedicated to helping photographers find jobs and enter a career is very hard to find

Ideation
Sitemap
A sitemap was created to develop an overall layout of the website in its fully completed state. Not all aspects of this site have been designed, but most go the main designs are completed.
Paper Wireframes
Designs
Home Page
Profile Page
Login Screen
Discover Page
Before doing anything, I like to create paper wireframes. In these wireframes I also designed a mobile counterpart to each screen.
Low Fidelity Wireframe and prototype
A low fidelity wireframe and prototype was created with some of the main elements of the sitemap in mind. Some of the screens have not been designed, such as the job screen and the messaging screens.
High Fidelity Mockups
This is the high fidelity design for the home screen, on 2 differing screen sizes. The layout is largely the same as it was on the low fidelity versions.
This is the design for the profile page. This page is the most altered page from its low fidelity version. It displays less text and information, then initially intended. It is simplified to include only the images. The image stories are visible once the user clicks on the image.
This is image view. It shows you the image story. The photographer gets an opportunity to share a story about the image, and his thought process behind capturing it. The photographer can also include the location, and the camera used.
